Mike Pulsifer &
Marion Craighead
Mike: After graduating from high school, I attended Westminster College in Fulton, MO along with several other College High graduates including Clark Halderson, David Hunter, David Groebe, David Sneed and David Phillips. After graduating from Westminster I married classmate, Marion Craighead. That fall we moved to Princeton, New Jersey where I earned my Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. In '67, we traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland where we both completed a year of postgraduate work at the University of Edinburgh and traveled throughout Europe and Asia.
In 1968 I began a life-long career as a Presbyterian minister. I have served churches in El Reno, OK, Indianola, IA, Santa Ana, CA, Ridgewood, NJ and Ardmore, PA. I am now retired and serving part-time on a voluntary basis as the Minister for Executive Leadership at the Arch Street Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. We live in the center of Philadelphia, PA two blocks from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.
We have 2 sons, Sean and Scott, 5 grandchildren, ages 5 and younger, all who live in the Philadelphia area. I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, reading novels, history and theology, traveling and going to movies. I am a lifelong fan of the Oklahoma University football team and the Los Angeles Dodger baseball team thanks to the influence of another College High graduate, Arthur Simonson.
Marion: After Col-Hi, I attended the University of Oklahoma, majoring in English Literature and Journalism. I married classmate Mike Pulsifer, and we moved New Jersey where I taught at Ewing High School in Trenton, NJ.

After we returned from Europe I began my career developing and managing nationally recognized teacher training programs for the U.S. Department of Education focusing on the then new Title IX legislation providing more opportunities for women. I have experience as a commercia al real estate broker in the Midwest and developer of college-level technology training programs for corporations in Southern California. Earning a JD from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, I litigated highway issues as Deputy Counsel for the California Department of Transportation in Southern California. As Regional Counsel for the Federal Transit Administration in New York City, I oversaw grants and federal
programs for New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Puerto Rico transit systems. For the last 15 years, my consulting firm has worked to develop national rail projects such as New Jersey's Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, NYC's World Trade Center site and Second Avenue subway, airport connectors for JFK, Dulles and Greene Airports, and new transit systems such as Houston Metro. Currently, I am concentrating on retirement and occasionally consulting on the financing of public-private transportation and high speed rail projects. I enjoy high-rise living in downtown Philadelphia, theater, music, movies, travel and, of course, our children and grandchildren who also live in the area.
